Image branding photoshoot for illu

The branding photoshoot for illu was conducted in a photography studio. Our aim was to showcase the lamp collection in various settings and worlds, juxtaposing contemporary design icons with vintage objects, exploring how light interacts with form, texture, and proportions. It was a product-focused shoot, but also a very intuitive one. In this session, observing the process of how light influences the space was more important than the final outcome.

Every change was subtle. A few centimetres in one direction, a different angle, or a gently shifted shadow. Suddenly, the space began to breathe differently. The light structured the interior’s rhythm or relaxed it, building tension or bringing tranquillity. The same fixture could tell an entirely different story without altering the architecture or interfering with the form.

Backstage of this session was a series of quiet decisions. No rush, no excess. Just the way we love to work at illu. We were interested in light that doesn't dominate but accompanies. Light that is present but doesn't demand attention. It allows the interior to resonate on its own terms.

This session wasn't just about showcasing the product. It was about the experience. About the fact that light is a tool for changing mood, rhythm, and the way of being in a space. And sometimes it really takes very little to feel the difference.
