Light and Wellbeing: illu at the Neuro Design Forum

Light has never been merely an accessory - scientific research confirms that it has a huge impact on the circadian rhythm and emotions. This topic became part of the Neuro Design Forum – a meeting devoted to the concepts of neuroarchitecture and well-building. We could not miss it, just like the lamps from the Snob collection, which fit perfectly into the concepts of responsible and conscious spatial design.

The need to create people-friendly places, where we can feel relaxed and experience design in its most refined forms, seems far stronger than it was just a few decades ago. Interiors are increasingly becoming personal sanctuaries, fully responding to the dynamics of reality and the growing importance of individualism. This is exactly what we discussed during the first edition of the Neuro Design Forum in Warsaw, organised by the Polish Association of Neuroarchitecture.

The year 2026 has been officially designated the Year of Health Prevention in Poland, which provided the opportunity to meet with specialists from the fields of architecture and design, as well as neuropsychology and neurobiology. Together, we reflected on the future of designing spaces that support wellbeing in the broadest sense. Light plays a huge role in this process – our regulator of emotions and indicator of rest and activity. That is why, during the event, we presented the Snob luminaires from the illu collection.

Snob was created from the need to ensure harmony, so essential in a world full of change and sensory overload. Its simple form brings a note of calm to interiors without imposing itself, while the light it emits allows for rest at any time of day or night. Snob was designed in line with the ideas of neuroarchitecture and well-building, making it an ideal component for spaces focused on wellbeing.
